THE SPIRIT DIFFERENCE
- Our cruising speed out to see the whales is 22knots (40k/h), we are one of the fastest vessels and pass boats that leave the harbour ahead of us, this translates to less time travelling, more time spent with the whales for our passengers
- Because of our speed we can dart between pods in the bay to spend maximum time with active, friendly whales
- We head straight out to the whales playground, no deviations
- We are the only vessel with bow cameras to catch the fabulous dolphins surfing our bow and the whales hanging out between the hull. If you’re not right on the bow watching this action it can be viewed aboard the Spirit on one of 5 LCD screens
- The Spirit is surveyed to carry 245 passengers but on average we carry between 80 to 120. This means the Spirit is only at 50% capacity the majority of the time so personal space is at a premium, with front row viewing a certainty
