The Melbourne Skydive Centre is based in the famous Yarra Valley Winery region of Victoria and is less than an hour's drive from the heart of the city.

It is the closest Skydive centre to Melbourne.

Our Skydiving centre is home for some of Australia's skydiving champions. We use world leading skydiving safety equipment and have a top notch safety record.

Unlike most skydiving centers, we offer a package that includes much more than a tandem skydive:

Arrival to the Melbourne Skydive Centre at LIlydale Airfield followed by a comprehensive briefing and training by one of our experienced tandem instructors.
A scenic flight above the beautiful Yarra Valley winery region with panoramic views of Melbourne city and the Dandenong Mountains
Jumping from a height of 10,000 feet and starting with an exhilarating Freefall of 40 seconds.
5-6 minutes of parachuting your way down back to the drop zone where we took off from.
A certificate recognizing your skydive jump.
A FREE wine tasting at a local winery

Tour times can be tailored to your request and range from half a day to a full day.

Requirements: Comfortable clothes that you can lift your knees up in and closed, flat soled, lace up shoes.

Restrictions: Must be over 14 years old (If less than 18 years, requires a parent/guardian consent form)

Extras: AU$25 Australian Parachute Federation levy.

Optional Extras: Photos, DVDs, Video or any combination of them.
Includes filming of your training, the scenic flight above Yarra Valley, the skydive and the landing. Full digital editing including background music, slow motion, and converting to the appropriate video standard for your home country. This will allow you to go back in time and relive this amazing experience and also show your family and friends how good it was.

Please Note - There is a $25 Australian Parachute Levy Payable Direct TEN IMPORTANT THINGS YOU MUST REMEMBER:

1. Skydiving is WEATHER dependant - please allow up to 6 hours to complete your skydive

2. WEATHER CHECK-You must ring the drop zone on 0400 550 479 just before leaving home - DO NOT LEAVE HOME until we have confirmed weather is suitable for skydiving (you may receive a recorded message detailing the conditions of the day and next steps).

3. You must not be effected by or have consumed any alcohol 8 hours prior to your jump.

4. Please make sure you have something to eat and stay hydrated on the day of your jump to ensure you have plenty of energy on the day.

5. Clothing for your jump should be comfortable and allow easy movement of arms and legs. Lace up shoes or runners are the most appropriate footwear - NO BOOTS. We will provide your goggles and jumpsuit. We also suggest you bring a warm jumper. During winter, please wear a few layers and bring warm gloves.

6. You must notify us one week prior to your jump date if you are over 95kg. Due to manufacturers specifications and equipment constraints, we are unable to take persons over 105kg skydiving.

7. Children jumping must be 14 years of age and if under 18 years of age must have parental consent and a parent or guardian present on the day

8. Payments and Gift Vouchers are non-refundable
