The King River is Victoria's favourite river, and one of the most popular rivers in Australia. It has just the right mix of all the things people love about whitewater rafting - tons of great rapids, beautiful scenery, interesting history and the closest location to Melbourne. It's an easy drive and a great place to get away from the grind. The King has something for everyone. It's a river the whole family can enjoy and yet offers enough white water rafting excitement that people return annually.
Your adventure begins with morning tea above the dam at Lake William Hovell as your guides suit you up with all the gear you’ll need for an exciting day on the water. Then after a comprehensive safety talk and a quick skills session you’ll be ready for your first run of the day!
Upon completing the first run, your guides will prepare you an amazing riverside feast while they regale you with hilarious river tales. After everyone has had their fill of food and laughs, we’ll head out for our second run of the day!
There will be guided and self guided rafts available on the day. So, if you’re a real adrenalin junkie ask to go on a self guided raft! You’ll love it!
