Our two day wildlife adventure of the Gippsland Region will bring you back to nature’s wonders! On our first day we meet some of Australia’s most well known native animals at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park and witness the nightly parade of little penguins emerging from the sea on Phillip Island .We have plenty of time to explore the Island staying overnight in a charming cabin park.
The following day travelling towards the most southerly point of mainland Australia we find ourselves in Wilsons Promontory National Park,Victoria’s largest coastal wilderness area. Don’t forget to bring your walking shoes and camera and get ready to explore some of the spectacular coastlines framed by granite headlands, mountains, forests and fern gullies. Discover the abundant bird life and look out for emus, wallabies and wombats in their natural habitat!
Day 1(D)
Experience the magic of Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park and see wombats, koalas, kangaroos, dingoes and much more!
Churchill Island Explore this historic landmark and see sheep shearing in action.
Learn about indigenous history.
Visit the Koala Conservation Centre.
Cape Woolamai surf beach, get sand between your toes and enjoy the spectacular views.
See the Nobbies and Seal Rocks
Watch the Penguin Parade show at dusk.
Overnight stay in shared accommodation on the Island. (Bed linen inlcuded)
Day 2(B)
Wilsons Promontory National Park.
See kangaroos and emus in the wild.
Hike through some of the spectacular tracks such as Mt Bishop, Vereker Outlook, Mount Oberon or Pillar Point (easy- medium graded walks).
Enjoy fern gullies and mountain views.
Take a coastal walk from Squeaky Beach to Tidal River (1.5hrs).
Upgraded accommodation available on request at an additional cost.
Please note this tour is a combination of two 1 day tours with an overnight stop at Phillip Island.
