Learn to skydive solo for the ultimate challenge& thrill with our internationally recognised skydiving course. Skydiving is an exciting sport with opportunities to travel and meet people who share the same passion from all over the world.
Our 9 stage course is run by highly experienced and professional jump masters who will train you on modern equipment using the TAFF/AFF Method of training. After completing the 1st stage in Tandem with an instructor, you will make your first SOLO descent under the supervision of 2 instructors during the 2nd stage and onwards. This method helps to build skills and confidence progressively.
The 9 stage/skydive course includes classroom training, 9 x instructor assisted Skydives, parachute packing, membership to the Australian Parachute Federation, own Logbook to keep track of your jumps& ongoing training. You will be performing basic freefall actions such as forward/backward movement, spins, back-loops, slow/fast fall rate and maintaining stability.
Student training is weather dependant, so we ask you to put aside 2 weeks to complete your SOLO course. Further training for your‘A’ Licence is then available.
Our AFF Courses run over a period of nine stages.
Each stage has to be passed and approved by your jump master/s beofre progressing to the next stage. If a stage needs to be consolidated and repreated you will be able to do so at a minimum cost price.
STAGE 1
Requires two days. The first day consists of a full days trainning in the classroon with a jump master. You will get acquainted with freefall, learn how to read your altimeter, deploy your parachure and fly your parachute. The training is quite intense and will go from 8am until 4-5pm.
On the second day of training, you will return to the jump from 14,000 feet!! You will be assisted by your tandem instructor who will assist you in freefall to maintain stability, height awareness and to deploy your parachute. When you have deployed your parachute your instructor will assist you to fly the parachute safely back to the drop zone.
STAGE 2 - Your first solo
To complete stage 2 you will exit the aircraft with 2 instructors. You will learn the techniques to create forward movement and turns. When you have deployed your parachute a third instructor on the ground will direct your parachute flight to landing via radio.
STAGE THREE& FOUR
Teaches you how to control your body during freefall so that you can fall by yourself without the jump masters hanging onto you.
STAGE FIVE& SIX
Learn to do solo turns and advanced body control
STAGE SEVEN
Learn to do solo turns and tracking across the sky
STAGE EIGHT
Learn to consolidate all skills from previous stages
STAGE NINE
Is a lower altitude jump where you exit the plane and deploy your parachute to fly down to the completion of your AFF training!!
