ITINERARY
10:00am - Leave Melbourne: It is roughly an hour to the Yarra Valley from Melbourne, during which our guides will entertain you with unbeleivable beer facts and stories.
White Rabbit Brewery: The passionate brewery staff will explain White Rabbits philosophy and brewing methods on a tour of the brewery floor. Then it is off to the bar for a tasting session of their beer and cider. Then sit back and soak up the sounds and smells of the brewery and enjoy a complimentary beer.
Buckley's Beer: Buckley’s is the oldest brewery in the Yarra Valley and have been making great beers for over a decade, using the best ingredients, a little solar energy and a whole lot of craftsmanship. John is a lover of beer and local history, sit back, have a chat and enjoy his hand crafted brews.
Hargreaves Hill: With their European style beers, amazing tasting paddles and mouth watering food, Hargreaves Hill is the perfect stop for lunch. At this stop YOU become the beer expert, as you match a beer from your tasting paddle with lunch.
Napoleon Cidery at Punt Road Wines: With their pear and apple ciders, bi-annual French style specialties and cider sorbet, Napoleon is our“dessert” stop. Discover just how good cider can get!
Coldstream Brewery: A great little brewery pub, Coldstream combines its permanent line-up of beers with seasonal specialities and local produce ciders. We finish the tour here with tasting paddles and drinks!
4:30pm - Return to Melbourne: Arrive between 5:30-6pm depending on traffic.
Note: We are visiting working breweries. Whilst we work hard to ensure you can meet as many brewers, brewery staff and visit back of brewery areas, it is not always possible to visit every brewery and undertake all activities in the order stated above.
