DAY 1:
In the morning we visit the famous Richmond Colonial Village, you will have plenty of time (1 hour) to stroll around Australia's most historic town and its beautiful Georgian buildings including the oldest bridge in Australia.
Arriving at the Tasman Peninsula we check out the magnificent ocean& coastal views from Pirates Bay Lookout before heading to Eaglehawk Neck and a short walk on beautiful Egg Beach, learn about the famous convict DOGLINE!.
We then visit the fantastic natural attractions of Tasman Arch& Devils Kitchen before arriving at the famous Port Arthur Historic Site, Tasmania's number 1 visited destination.
We give you maximum time to explore Port Arthur, visit over 30 historic buildings, take a harbour cruise (Ghost Tour on Saturdays in place of cruise)& walking tour to enhance the experience& check out the popular museum and theatre.
Before departing for Hobart we visit the stunning Remarkable Cave& check out the panoramic views from Maingon Bay Lookout ...a great place to see whales!
On the way home, sit back and enjoy our movie on the dvd screens, we even have chocolate treats for everybody.
DAY 2:
Today you will visit one of the best coastal areas in the world.
In the morning we travel to the beautiful East Coast via the seaside towns of Swansea and ColesBay before arriving at the Freycinet National Park.
Freycinet’s pink granite mountains will surround you all day, beautiful white beaches, secluded coves and the famous Wineglass Bay are all here ready for you to explore.
We give you maximum time in the Freycinet National Park, you may choose to take a walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout and then to the famous beach, explore Sleepy Bay or just relax on one of the beautiful beaches.
Our Tasmanian guide will make sure you have plenty of options to really enjoy your Freycinet tour.
Late afternoon we check out the fantastic Cape Tourville Lookout and lighthouse before meandering our way home through the delightful seaside towns of the East Coast.
We even stop at Kate’s Berry Farm for some yummy ice cream
We pick up from all hotels, backpackers& private accommodation in Hobart. We can drop off and pick you up from the airport.
