Our Flexi tours are individual, self guided tours that include transportation, accommodation, tours and some meals. We use the Greyhound National Coach Line, a deluxe, scheduled coach service for travel inbetween each destination. The included accommodation is based on dorm share, in clean, centrally and conveniently located hostels and all of our local tours are operated by reputable companies with a proven history of excellence, quality and value for money. During the tours and the upgrades we have available, you will be on a guided tour with like-minded travelers but whilst traveling between each destination on the Greyhound there is no guide. However, you will be greeted by local representatives who will take you to your accommodation at each destination. Because we are not employing a tour leader to be with you the whole time, it allows us to pass on the savings to our customers without compromising the tour quality or accommodation. Our Flexi Tours are excellent value for money and a great way meet new people, experience new things and enjoy the East Coast of Australia.

GOLD COAST TO CAIRNS FLEXI TOUR
Day 1 to 4: Gold Coast to Fraser Island
Travel north through Southeast Queensland& the Sunshine Coast before arriving in Hervey Bay. This coastal village is famous both as the whale watching hub of Australia plus as the gateway to Fraser Island.
Here we include HERVEY BAY + FRASER ISLAND + CAPRICORN COAST. This option includes accommodation in Hervey Bay plus a fun-filled day with an experienced local guide and see the best that Fraser island has to offer. Next head to the Tropic of Capricorn in Central Queensland, the Capricorn Coast is an undiscovered gem. With an average daily temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, the Capricorn Coast is a haven for long days in the warm sun all year round. If unspoilt beaches, clean white sand and sparkling ocean are your thing, then you're coming to the right place.
Day 5 to 7: Airlie Beach& Whitsunday's
Airlie is the gateway to the Whitsunday's– an archipelago of 74 tropical islands. Our resort is located on the main strip and features a swimming pool, bar and night club. This is the ideal base to explore the Whitsunday's from.
At Airlie Beach we include a full day sailing (lunch whilst on cruise) + 2 Nights @ Airlie Beach. This option includes a full day sailing around the Whitsunday Islands, great snorkeling, pristine beaches PLUS all you can eat lunch and UNLIMITED booze whilst onboard.
Day 8 to 9: Cairns& Great Barrier Reef
Cairns is the adventure playground of Australia offering bungy jumping, white water rafting, kayaking, ballooning and diving. Here you have plenty of time to experience the Great Barrier Reef along with the other adrenaline activities that this town boasts....and then it is party time when the sun goes down.
In Cairns we include a full day cruise. Experience the Great Barrier Reef on our fully equipped cruise vessel. This is one of the fastest vessels to get you to the reefs meaning you get to spend more time snorkelling and exploring - you can also go SCUBA diving for a small fee. Lunch is included whilst on the reef.
Day 10 to 11: Cape Tribulation& Daintree National Park
Experience the majestic rainforests, pristine rivers and white sandy beaches of the World Heritage listed Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Parks. Here you will cruise down the Daintree River spotting crocodiles and taking in the local wildlife before an overnight in PK's Resort. The following morning is free to explore this majestic rainforest before heading back to Cairns for your last night.
Day 12: END Cairns
Your package is complete upon check-out of the hostel this morning.
Flexi-Tours depart daily. All our transport is on scheduled services of the national deluxe coach network. We invest in each of the communities we visit by only using local guides / companies that know the region you are visiting and all the accommodation is centrally located and chosen for its amenities. As this is FLEXI Touring, the group size may vary between each region you visit.....This is a great way to see Australia.
